This Austrian bank was downgraded for notches because of a potential bankruptcy and nationalization. The risk in European banks is still there.
The argentine government has admitted it is evaluating whether to cut subsidies, especially on fuel, as it can no longer continue to make these payments. The result will be higher prices for consumers.
Argentina is now fining businesses for raising prices as a way to keep inflation in check. French retailer Carrefour got the biggest fine.
